Doug Cooper is a Managing Director at Rose & Company and joined the firm in 2023. Mr. Cooper advises clients across various sectors in areas such as the capital markets, investor relations, strategic transformations, valuation, and financial communications including earnings, investor days, investment thesis development, special announcements, guidance and capital allocation strategy. 

Prior to joining Rose & Company, Doug worked for Corbin Advisors and FTI Consulting, strategic communications consulting firms for several years. Before his career in IR advisory, Doug spent 15 years within sell-side equity research working for various investment banks including Goldman Sachs, UBS, and Deutsche Bank, and served as a lead analyst covering the small cap restaurant space with Sidoti & Co. Having followed over 20 industries during his career, Doug has covered more than 150 different companies ranging from small to large market capitalization, including single and multi-segment organizations with both domestic and global operations. The breadth of coverage over the course of his career has provided valuable experience and perspective on a multitude of public company situations and transactions.   

Doug provides expert insight from his years of experience interacting with IROs, executive management teams, institutional investors, and has deep knowledge of the investment research process, best-in-class investor relations practices and strategies for companies to maximize their valuation potential. Doug possesses an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Pepperdine University and a B.S. in Marketing from Penn State University.
