Mr. Smith was previously with Barclays, where he served as the U.S. Head of Institutional Corporate Marketing and most recently as a Senior Relationship Manager. At Barclays, he was responsible for developing and managing corporate relationships in the industrial, consumer, retail, and business services sectors as well as overseeing the firm’s U.S. based dedicated sector teams. Mr. Smith joined Barclays following the firm’s acquisition of Lehman Brothers in 2008. At Lehman Brothers, he jointly managed the firm’s New York institutional equity sales desk and oversaw the desk’s equity corporate access efforts.
